The Metro core spurs mixed use development in Bethesda’s Central Business District. Wells + Associates has played an integral role in the growth of the CBD.
The CBD encompasses approximately 405 acres and 65 blocks around the Bethesda Metro Station and contains a connected network of major highways, arterials, residential street, and business district streets; numerous public bus services; and pedestrian and bicycle sidewalks and trails.
Wells + Associates has conducted transportation, parking, pedestrian planning studies, and traffic engineering studies, for the most significant projects approved in the past 15 years and current projects in the Bethesda CBD.
