 In December 2001 Anne Arundel Medical Center, located in the Anne Arundel Health Systems Medical Park, greatly expanded with the opening of a new 277,000-S.F., six-story Acute Care Pavilion.Wells + Associates was retained by Anne Arundel  Medical Center to conduct a traffic impact analysis for the expansion of the Anne Arundel Medical Center Campus and the relocation of the existing Anne Arundel General Hospital to the new campus.Wells + Associates analysis considered the impact of the campus expansion, the relocation of the existing hospital from the historic district of Annapolis, and the impact of the Medical Parkway extension. The results of the analysis indicated that the expansion plans for the Anne Arundel Medical Center campus would be more than adequately served by the existing and planned roadway network. |
