 Wells + Associates has provided traffic engineering and transportation planning services to Inova Fairfax  Hospital since 1994.Wells + Associates has conducted four parking and traffic circulation studies that included: inventories of existing physician, staff, patient, and visitor lots / garages; hourly parking occupancy counts on a typical weekday; identification of existing and future parking demands; evaluation of the number and location of additional spaces needed to adequately accommodate existing and projected parking demands; and evaluation of existing and future vehicular circulation requirements. Wells + Associates determined that parking demands have steadily increased over time. Parking solutions have included construction of more parking in new parking garages and stacked parking in existing surface parking lots. |
