The Damone Group soon will transform a vacant middle school site into a senior living community.
The now-vacant middle school will be razed and replaced with 110 senior residential units, eight cottages, and five single-family homes.
Two driveways will provide access to Thirteen Mile Road. Vehicular and pedestrian connections also will be made to the adjacent neighborhoods.
Wells + Associates prepared a comprehensive SimTraffic analysis and site circulation study, which demonstrated that the traffic that would be generated at full build out could be adequately accommodated with re asonable improvements at the driveways.
Wells + Associates also recommended modification to internal parking lots and drive aisles to accommodate tractor-trailer trucks.
