Cameron Station Phases VI and VIII
Phases VI and VIII - Alexandria, Virginia
Cameron Station is located south of Duke Street and east of Van Dorn Street in Alexandria.  It is planned to ultimately contain over 1,700 dwelling units, an elementary school, a community park, and 20,000 S.F. of specialty retail space.  This project is nearly complete, with only Phases VI and VII remaining.

Cameron Station is designed in the neo-traditional motif, with traffic circles, textured pavements, and well-defined pedestrian crossings, creating a “walkable” community.

Wells + Associates is currently under contract by Greenvest, LC, the master developer, to prepare a traffic impact study for Phases VI and VII that would consist of 97 townhouses and 148 condominiums.  This report included a trip generation comparison of the original 1995 development program, and an evaluation of the key intersections within the project with an emphasis on operations at Tucker Elementary School.

The traffic study and analyses are currently under review by the City of Alexandria Transportation and Environmental Services Division.
