Downtown Rosslyn is undergoing a second Renaissance. Wells & Associates has played an important role in that transformation.

Downtown Rosslyn is largely defined by the Key and Roosevelt Bridges over the Potomac River; a connected network of Interstate highways, arterials, collectors, and local streets; the Rosslyn Metro station; numerous public and private bus services; and pedestrian sidewalks and skywalks.

Wells + Associates has conducted transportation, parking, pedestrian, transit, and transportation management planning studies, and traffic engineering studies, for the most significant projects approved in Downtown Rosslyn in the past 15 years.

Services provided to our clients include:

•	Extensive vehicular, pedestrian, and transit passenger counts,
•	Evaluation of existing one-way street couplets and the feasibility of converting them back to two-way streets,
•	Evaluation of the at-grade sidewalk and above-grade skywalk networks,
•	Intersection capacity and design studies,
•	Parking garage access, egress, and internal circulation studies,
•	Bus routing studies,
•	Bus stop planning,
•	Truck dock designs, and
•	Transportation Management Plans (TMP’s).

We have developed an extensive database of historical and current traffic counts and network models of existing and projected future peak hour and daily traffic flows. We have helped shape County-approved plans and the Downtown Rosslyn transportation system.
